These little paintings were created during breaks from working on my larger canvases.  Initially intended as a means to experiment with underpainting background colours, they quickly evolved into their own unique works. As I played with colours, I discovered that each piece had its own distinctive personality.  Keeping the elements in these paintings consistent with those found in my larger canvas pieces, I've created a series that continues to unfold.
